This 28-400 silver aluminum closure has a smooth skirt and a smooth top which also includes a PE polyethylene foam liner innerseal. This closure is a great choice for both plastic and glass bottles and jars.

A PE foam liner is a great general purpose liner because the material is compressible and creates a stable seal. It has good chemical resistance for products such as acids, alkalis, and some solvents. Also great for water-based products and cosmetics.

Please Note: This closure should not be used to package hydrocarbon-based solvents. A PE foam liner does not provide the consumer with an indication of tampering (tamper evidency).
