Our 70-400 black continuous thread metal lid with white trim offers a plastisol liner which will create a tamper evident and air-tight vacuum seal, keeping your product fresh and safe. Great for food items like jams, jellies, syrups and sauces, and for use when canning, or pickling.

This product is recommend for a hot fill and cool process with a maximum temperature of 185°F/85°C.

We do not recommend using this product for hot water bath processing.

This 70-400 white polypropylene Continuous Thread closure has a ribbed skirt, a matte (stipple) top, and a raised ring around the top exterior of the cap to facilitate the stacking of filled containers. It includes an F-217 foam liner, which is a general purpose liner that provides good chemical resistance and a low moisture transmission rate. This closure and liner combination is commonly used for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and household chemical applications.

Note that a foam liner material will not provide any indication of tampering (tamper evidency).

Our 70-400 white continuous thread tinplated steel lid with white trim includes a plastisol liner, which will keep your product fresh and safe. The stack feature is useful when product is sold in a retail environment.

The liner is designed to be used as an innerseal for dry products such as pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and food. It can be used with both glass and plastic bottles. It does provide the consumer an indication of tampering (tamper evidency).
